Tube City: Station Beta
This is the second entry of my Tube City set: “Station Beta”.
Station Beta is a 3 story, Terminal style base, with 4 external entrances and 4 internal courtyard entrances. It comes with an optional Airlock item you can import along with a full set of scripts and instructions on how to insert the scripts to create a working airlock system. This is a great addition for any Sci-fi themed region.
This is a large build (2824 prims), but uses prims of 10m or less in dimensions.
This was exported using Imprudence 1.4.0 Experimental 2011.04.19 (Apr 19 2011 18:45:22).

[...] Tube City is a sci-fi styled modular building set where you can connect the various pieces together into space stations and planetary outposts. These are the components I used to make the Station Alpha (http://opensim-creations.com/2011/05/10/station-alpha/) and Station Beta (http://opensim-creations.com/2011/05/16/station-beta/) Builds [...]

When you are logged into your region do the following:
1) Go to the menu File -> Import + Upload
2) Navigate to the XML file location (it should be named StationBeta.xml)
3) Select the XML file and click “Open” (or just double click on it)
It should then load. It might take a couple of minutes to do so depending on your connection speed to the server (a local serve should only take a couple of seconds).
Here is a link to Vanish’s instructions on how to import using Imprudence: http://tgib.co.uk/2010/05/09/how-to-import-tgib-builds-into-second-life-and-opensim/

I love the design. The only issue I am having is positioning. When I import the station all is well till I try to move it. All parts are not linked.
Beautiful design, will enjoy working with it.

It should import as a single group, but there could be some setting on the server or viewer that prevents it from rezing properly.
You could try re-linking the objects after importing. If that doesn’t work, it is probably some server or viewer setting (or perhaps an older viewer version) preventing it being rezed properly.
One error I have occasionally encountered is when my avatar is bumped or moved during imports. This can cause imported prims to rez in the wrong spots. My solution was to rez a single prim and sit on it before beginning the import, as this causes your avatar to become phantom (you can’t be bumped or moved without standing up first).
Hope that helps.
