Download: Rustic Cozy Log Cabin - Downloaded 721 times
Here’s a rustic log cabin I built to share with others. Feel free to use yourself or give away free. It has two rooms and a loft with access by a ladder. For the loft, you can see out the windows yet others can’t see in. The fireplace has a log fire and has smoke coming from the chimney. The door is phantom so walk right in. This is my first upload, so not sure the scripts will work for the fire and smoke, as different engines respond differently on some grids. You could always add your own scripts for that later on. Add your furniture, curtains, plants, trees, whatever, and move into a cozy cabin getaway. Enjoy
Suzy

When I imported this to my sim the textures did not load. Any idea why?

Hello James, thanks for downloading the cabin and nice to meet you! There could be a couple of reasons why the textures didn’t upload. I had similar issues with other items, so here’s some things to check:
—after downloading the file, when unzipping to your location, make a New Folder with whatever name you choose and unzip to that folder; all the files will be in that one folder, I do this with each of the items I download from this site
—in Imprudence use the Import + Upload feature, not just Import, navigate to the folder you just made and upload the html for the cabin and wait. The textures should upload with the building
—not sure what grid you are on however if you happen to be uploading to Second Life, the textures will not import at all
Also the scripts won’t import unfortunately, they will need to be added separately if you want the fireplace and smoke to work
If you are on Kitely you can pick up a box free here:
http://www.kitely.com/virtualworld/Suzy-Silverweb/Freebie-FunPark
…use on Kitely and the fire and smoke will work, or unpack and Export it to your computer and try importing it that way
If you still have troubles with the textures, I can meet you on almost any grid (I’m the same name practically everywhere) and give them to you to apply to the cabin. Hope this helps
