Welcome to Art Park, “Drop Art Here”!
Art Park was inspired by work I did on my home sim creating a smaller gallery, and by other galleries I’ve seen where I’ve thought “I can do that!”.
Art Park features 8 display areas (4 outside, 4 inside) and a small pavilion to socialize and dance (bring your own dance ball). To display your art, select the texture you want to display from your inventory and drop it onto the art display. The displays are all full-perm so you can de-link and modify them to suit your own needs -you can even get rid of them entirely if you want!
There is a small “gift shop” 500m up (reachable by a teleporter hidden in the pavilion) which has the terrain and texture packs used to make the galleries, as well as the animations used for the bench sits. The trees were all taken from the Tina Rene “must have pack” found here: http://opensim-creations.com/2011/12/12/landscaping-must-have-pack/
This sim uses 1,088 primsĀ (319 assets stored) and is roughly 16 megs in size

So drop art here means artists just share as they pass through? That’s super cool!

I hadn’t thought of visitors dropping art off, but that IS a cool idea. I like it!

Hi, Peter; thanks for the heads-up.
I’m not quite sure what’s going on. I also got a 404 error, but when I logged in the file was still there. Please try this link and let me know if it works or not. Thanks!
